Pyrolysis Soil Remediation

Pyrolysis technology is efficiently used for the thermal cleaning of soil. Several built soil remediation pyrolysis plants successfully treat soils, which have been heavily contaminated with organic pollutants and inorganic pollutants such as dioxin, PCB, oil, cyanides, mercury. The cleaned soil is then reutilized.

Main advantages of the pyrolysis soil treatment

Inorganic substances of the soil are not thermally changed; the product preserve its original structure.

The volume of the waste gases to be treated depends only on the moisture content and the amount of the soil contaminants.

High cleaning efficiency within a short period of time

The pyrolysis soil remediation facility can be built as a stationary pyrolysis plant with large capacities or smaller transportable pyrolysis units mounted on the frames.

The SOSA model of the pyrolysis facility (Seawater-Oil-Sand) was designed for treatment of the contaminated soil by oil sludge after environmental catastrophes with oil tankers and rigs. First SOSA plant was built in 1995.
